About

W-DAY is Busan’s signature weekly work-vacation networking event hosted every Wednesday by the Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, bringing together local residents, digital nomads, and professionals from diverse fields for connection and cultural exchange.

From August 20 to October 24 (except Chuseok week), all W-Days are organized and hosted by the Hoppin Busan program and the Hoppers team in collaboration with our partners.

On September 3, W-DAY features a special double session hosted by our international partners:

1. Taiwan Tea Time — Learn about the Digital Nomad Visa (by TDNA)
2. Japan Night — Make Japanese friends and explore Japanese local culture (by JWA)

W-DAY는 부산창조경제혁신센터가 매주 수요일 주최하는 부산의 대표적인 주간 워케이션 네트워킹 행사로, 로컬 주민, 디지털 노마드, 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 모여 교류와 문화 교환을 하는 자리입니다.

8월 20일부터 10월 24일까지(추석 주 제외) 모든 W-DAY는 Hoppin Busan 프로그램과 Hoppers 팀이 파트너와 함께 기획·주최합니다.

9월 3일 W-DAY에서는 특별히 해외 파트너들이 준비한 2개의 세션이 열립니다.

1. 타이완 티타임 — 디지털 노마드 비자 안내 (TDNA 주최)
2. 재팬 나이트 — 일본인 친구 만들기 & 일본 로컬 문화 체험 (JWA 주최)

About Hoppin Busan

Hoppin Busan 2025 is a 10-week global workation program running from August 18 to October 24.
It consists of four themed weekly programs designed for digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and remote professionals, combining coliving, coworking, and networking for a unique experience.
Against the backdrop of Busan’s beaches and vibrant city life, participants from Korea and abroad can live, work, and expand their cultural and business networks together.

Hoppin Busan 2025는 8월 18일부터 10월 24일까지 진행되는 10주간의 글로벌 워케이션 프로그램입니다.
4개의 테마별 1주 프로그램으로 구성되어 있으며, 디지털 노마드, 창업가, 원격 근무자를 위해 콜리빙·코워킹·네트워킹을 결합한 특별한 경험을 제공합니다.
부산의 해변과 활기찬 도시를 배경으로, 국내외 참가자들이 함께 생활하고, 일하며, 문화와 비즈니스 네트워크를 확장할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다.

Come for a cup of tea, stay for new connections! Taste Taiwan’s finest tea, learn about the Digital Nomad Visa, and join a fun quiz game with prizes.

Part 2 – Japan Night: Make Japanese Friends! (17:00–19:00)

  일본과 참가 일본인 소개 (JWA 주최)
• Short regional showcases by Japanese participants (with translation)
  일본 참가자들의 지역 소개 (통역 포함)
• Tasting of Japanese snacks, sake, and regional specialties
  일본 간식, 사케, 특산품 시식
• Group photo & networking
  단체 기념촬영 & 네트워킹
• Optional Japanese dinner (19:30–21:30) and karaoke (22:00–late) for those who want to join (separate cost)
