Suwon is the move for Seoul access without Seoul rent. You're on the capital's subway network, an easy ride from Gangnam, and living next to a UNESCO-listed fortress you can jog around before work.

The Hwaseong area has the charm, Ingye-dong has the nightlife, and Samsung's headquarters next door means the infrastructure never lags.
