After last year’s big success, Hoppin Busan Workation is back! For a lot longer.
This time, we’ll be there from August 17th to October 29th.
The program?
A retreat for beach lovers. Get to know the city and immerse yourself in Busan’s unique culture. Includes a reunion for Hoppin Busan 2024 alumni.
Connect with the Japanese and Taiwanese digital nomad ecosystems. Great for those interested in regional exchange and travel between Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
Attend the BOUNCE Startup Conference to network with locals and get a pitch opportunity… And the Busan International Film Festival! Movie fans, movie stars, and cinema professionals will be attending screenings, open talks, and other cool events.
Want to improve your Korean language skills and experience deep cultural immersion? We’ll have events planned, and you’ll be surrounded by like-minded people willing to practice.

We’re staying in the same neighborhood as last year: Nampo-dong. Close to the sea, the area is famous for its local markets - Jagalchi, where you can get fresh fish, and Gukje, a historical market created back in 1945, after the end of the Japanese occupation.
Each person will have a private room with a double bed and private bathroom, available in two types: Studio and Suite. The hotel lounge offers breakfast and will serve as our community lounge for coworking and casual gatherings. It will remain open until late at night for those who have to work late.
Participants will receive a Hoppin Busan Pass, giving access to several coworking spaces within easy reach of our accommodation. The Busan Workation Center will be our HQ.
We’ll take you to Dadaepo, the locals’ favorite beach. Chill on a yacht to watch fireworks and the Gwangalli drone show. Relax our bodies and feet in spas. Visit sacred temples in the mountains. Eat fresh fish and fun food at markets. We’ll show you lesser-known areas of the city so you experience the version of Busan that people live in.
Of course, we have prepared themed events, like the waterpark for the Summer Time workation, a K-Pop dance class for the Korean Language workation, and many others!
We balanced the schedule so that you’ll be able to participate in activities, no matter your working time zone.
We are preparing special discounts and partnership offers for Hoppin Busan workation members.
This is just some of the list 👇
This program is partially supported by Busan City through its Workation initiative, aimed at attracting remote workers to the city. As part of this support, participants must provide proof that they are employed by, or working with, companies or clients located outside of Busan.
